Introducing a new era for the Shinola Monster Series: Shinola's first-ever manual wind chronograph, named for and inspired by the Apollo Space Missions. While these missions have long-held ties to watchmaking, no timepiece has celebrated the Motor City’s instrumental impact on lunar and space exploration. Now, experience the untold story of Detroit’s crucial role in the Apollo missions through the Shinola Monster Chronograph.
Signature Shinola Monster details are taken to the next level of elevation with a titanium case body, blue aluminum bezel insert, and three-link titanium bracelet with a deploy buckle. Blue, cream, and red details and finishing are inspired by the Apollo missions, including a mission number and date on the matte velvet sea blue dial. The exhibition case back window features a red gasket that surrounds the complex, custom manual-wind chronograph movement inside.
Limited to 500 timepieces, the Mooncraft Monster: Apollo 11 arrives in custom packaging that commemorates the Detroit drive that took Americans to the moon and back.
