On September 17, we spent the evening with some of our favorite people: our neighbors! Peter & Co. Jewelers was honored to be voted into this year's Best of Lorain County event, and we had a great time connecting with the community face to face.
What Is Best of Lorain County?
Best of Lorain County is an annual celebration from puLse Lorain County's Magazine that recognizes the businesses, restaurants, and people who make our county special. Readers nominate their favorites, and the community votes at the event itself.
The evening works like a walkable tasting and shopping tour. Guests moved from table to table to sample food, try local products, and talk with the owners and teams behind them. Restaurants, shops, service providers, and neighborhood favorites were all in one room.
Our Display
We set up a display so visitors could see our jewelry up close and talk with our team. Many people stopped by to ask questions, try on pieces, and tell us what they were shopping for. Those conversations are our favorite part of any event.
The Melinda Maria Necklace Raffle
To thank everyone who stopped by, we raffled off a Melinda Maria necklace. Dozens of guests entered, and it was fun to see everyone's excitement as the drawing got closer.

Why Events Like This Matter
We're proud to be part of Lorain County, and this event reminded us why. It was a night full of local food, local businesses, and local people, with owners meeting customers and neighbors meeting neighbors. Every restaurant and shop in the room is run by someone who lives and works here.
