The History of Tacori
Purchasing one of these fine pieces from Tacori means you or your loved one will be wearing a ring rich in history. Co-founders Gilda and Haig Tacorian were both born in Romania. In the late 1950s, Gilda’s father was imprisoned for a year when the country’s Communist regime discovered that he was making gold wedding rings. But rather than squash his family’s passion for jewelry, this event only fueled it.
In the decades that followed, the families of both Gilda and Haig immigrated to the United States and settled in California. After meeting and falling in love, Gilda and Haig married and founded Tacori in the Downtown Los Angeles Jewelry District. From there, the rest is history.
As a family brand, the Tacorian clan continues to lead Tacori. To this day, the brand is still innovating jaw-dropping, celebrity-endorsed collections that young, budding lovers and long-time sweethearts alike can cherish for a lifetime.
